Egg style or egg shaped ornaments have been well loved around the world, and can add a touch of old time elegance to your Christmas tree or anywhere you hang a special ornament.
Safer than glass ornaments which can be tricky around little ones, a nice way to keep all those egg shells out of the landfill, and with a multitude of festive design options, these ornaments are a beautiful unique alternative for your Holiday decorating needs. They also make wonderful meaningful gifts and some designs can even be personalized.
All hanging ornaments, goose and chicken, as well as the truly unique goose egg keepsake boxes, are hand crafted and painted by myself with great care and attention to quality and detail of work.
The process is quite simple. The egg is blown out to rid it of its yoke and whites, water is then forced in to rinse, and then it is left to dry before the real fun of decorating begins.
These ornaments are stronger than you think. The paint and gloss coat makes them quite durable, and with my careful packing, they ship well. If you treat this ornament as you would any other special keepsake, it will last for years.
Fun fact, we eat a lot of omelets in our house!
